Cloud Network Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely as a contractor, the Cloud Network Engineer will design, automate, and support secure, scalable network solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments, primarily focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance connectivity and enterprise agility.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support resilient hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures
- Develop and maintain network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Python, and Ansible
- Troubleshoot complex network and cloud connectivity issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in designing and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure in both on-premises and public cloud settings
- Deep expertise in cloud networking and security services, particularly with GCP and AWS
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and network automation tools
- Proficiency in routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
