Cloud Network Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and operating high-performance GPU interconnects, the full-time Cloud Network Engineer will focus on multi-tenant SDN, ensuring low-latency, lossless fabrics for distributed AI training in a remote environment within San Jose, CA or Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and troubleshoot multi-tenant SDN, including tenant isolation and overlay networking
- Build and tune high-performance GPU interconnect fabrics for distributed training with a focus on lossless configuration
- Lead network change management and collaborate with Compute and Control Plane teams on network-provisioning automation
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in datacenter/cloud networking or SDN
- Deep expertise in multi-tenant isolation, overlays (VXLAN/EVPN), and L2/L3 design
- Hands-on experience with high-performance fabrics such as InfiniBand and/or RoCE
- Experience with SDN controllers and network automation
- Strong troubleshooting skills under production load
