Cloud Network Security Expert

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Cloud Network Security Subject Matter Expert, this remote position will design, implement, and maintain secure cloud network solutions while providing technical leadership and ensuring compliance with DoD security directives.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and document network security solutions across multi-vendor platforms for enterprise security architecture
• Design and support security components in hybrid cloud networks, including firewalls and VPN devices
• Leverage automation and scripting technologies to streamline deployment and operations tasks

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience (5-7 years in network engineering)
• OS Certification (CCNA or higher) required; equivalent knowledge to CCNP certification level
• 8570 Requirement: IAT Level II certification (e.g., CCNA Security, Security+ CE)
• Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Experience designing and deploying network solutions in enterprise environments
