Cloud Operations Director

Job Summary

Leading a team of Cloud Operations engineers, the full-time salaried Cloud Operations Director will own the technical vision and strategy for a cloud-native SaaS platform, ensuring its security, availability, and cost efficiency while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of Cloud Operations engineers, focusing on hiring, onboarding, and performance management
• Define and own the multi-year roadmap for the platform's availability, scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency
• Establish service level objectives and manage the incident management program to ensure operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• A minimum of ten years' experience in cloud-native applications and infrastructure, including three years in a management role
• Proven experience leading cloud operations or site reliability engineering for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
• Thorough knowledge of Azure or a similar major cloud provider, including security and compliance capabilities
• Experience with infrastructure as code, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern observability platforms
