Cloud Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Operations & Security Engineer (Contract, Potential Full-Time Hire).

Key Responsibilities

• Support operations, maintenance, and compliance of FedRAMP and IL4 cloud environments
• Troubleshoot IL4/FedRAMP-related issues and engage with clients for technical insights
• Perform patch management, vulnerability scanning, and maintain AWS services

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with Linux terminal and CLI-based administration
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Solid knowledge of security principles and vulnerability management
• Basic understanding of cloud services (preferably AWS)
• Must be a U.S. citizen and successfully complete a NACLC background investigation
