Cloud Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer - 3rd Shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud solutions using automation and configuration-as-code
• Conduct security reviews, address scan findings, and apply patches and upgrades
• Monitor system and application availability and support issue resolution

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with system administration of RPM-based Linux (Amazon Linux, RHEL, CentOS)
• 3+ years of AWS automation experience (VPC, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform for automated deployments
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance
