Cloud Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and evolution of scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, the full-time Cloud Operations Engineer will support the Cloud Ops roadmap and provide technical leadership while working in a hybrid environment, preferably from Boston.

Key responsibilities

• Support and contribute to the Cloud Ops roadmap, aligning infrastructure initiatives with business priorities
• Lead the design and evolution of scalable, highly available AWS cloud infrastructure
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automate provisioning and operations

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 10 years and a master's degree; or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of AWS services and managing Kubernetes as a service (AWS EKS)
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Docker, Packer/Ansible, and Terraform/Terragrunt
• Strong understanding of computer networks including TCP/IP protocols and AWS networking
• Experience with issues facing ML deployments including model training and inference challenges
