Cloud Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and maintaining secure AWS cloud environments, the full-time Cloud Operations Engineer will work remotely to implement automated infrastructure, conduct security reviews, and support mission-critical systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud solutions using automation and configuration-as-code
• Conduct security reviews, address scan findings, and apply necessary patches and upgrades
• Automate ongoing operations and maintenance tasks while monitoring system and application availability

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with system administration of RPM-based Linux (Amazon Linux, RHEL, CentOS)
• 3+ years of AWS automation experience (VPC, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform for automated deployments
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance
