Cloud Operations Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing Managed Services Provider, the full-time remote Cloud Operations Engineer will assist with project and deployment tasks for client onboarding and technology initiatives, engaging with clients to implement solutions across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Linux environments.
Key responsibilities
- Provision and deliver systems and services across on-premise and cloud-hosted solutions, including migrations to Office 365 and Azure
- Administer and support Linux server environments, troubleshooting and applying hardening practices in alignment with compliance standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met, providing updates and addressing implementation issues
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years' experience in System Administration, including Microsoft Azure Administration and Server Management
- Hands-on experience with Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky and/or Ubuntu)
- Working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC)
- Intermediate networking experience (TCP/IP, routing, SSH, VPN)
- Knowledge of automation tools and security tools, such as EDR and SIEM
