Job Summary
Managing a team of technical engineers, the full-time Cloud Operations Engineering Manager will oversee daily operations related to the organization's infrastructure design and engineering, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees system engineers and engineering support processes to resolve business issues effectively
- Manages relationships with internal business units to fulfill service level agreements
- Guides engineering teams in developing system specifications and leads validation planning for ongoing projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- 5 years of related professional experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong technical skills in Azure Cloud, AWS, or Oracle Cloud, with a preference for Azure
- ITIL Foundations v3 certification preferred upon hire
- Proficiency with various systems engineering tools and processes
