Cloud Operations Lead

Job Summary

Leading cloud and platform operations in a fully remote capacity, the Cloud Operations Lead will manage day-to-day activities across AWS and hybrid environments, ensuring availability and performance while driving automation and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure and applications
• Lead the design and implementation of DevSecOps pipelines and deployment automation using various tools
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement secure operational practices and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure engineering, or DevSecOps
• At least three (3) years of experience in a technical leadership role
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience implementing security and compliance controls aligned with frameworks such as NIST and FedRAMP
