Cloud Platform Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a Cloud Platform Lead Consultant or Senior Consultant to join the fully remote Operational Data Management team, responsible for designing, building, and operating cloud-native data infrastructure across AWS and Google Cloud Platform, while ensuring the resilience and performance of data platforms that support Arity's mobility insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage highly available database platforms across multi-cloud environments
• Build and optimize data streaming infrastructure to support real-time and batch data pipelines
• Implement monitoring and observability for data platform services to proactively resolve issues

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software engineering or infrastructure experience, with 2-4 years in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL and Apache Cassandra
• Production experience with data streaming platforms, including Apache Kafka
• Advanced Python development skills, including automation and operational solutions
