Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage cloud-based environments for system availability, performance, scalability, and security
• Enforce security measures within the cloud provider and associated systems
• Build and improve systems for monitoring health, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 4-6 years of cloud engineering experience, with 2-3 years on the AWS platform
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes environments
• Experience with containerized workloads and infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and networking models
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash)
