Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer II responsible for operational aspects of the care collaboration platform and associated websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage cloud-based deployment environments for performance, scalability, and security
• Enforce security within the cloud provider and develop technical infrastructure and application design plans
• Build systems for monitoring health, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure, and participate in on-call rotations

Required Qualifications

• 4-6 years of cloud engineering experience, with 2-3 years on the AWS platform
• Kubernetes subject matter expert with at least 3 years of hands-on experience
• Experience with containerized workloads and infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and networking models
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language and understanding of security protocols like HIPAA
