Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to manage and optimize Google Cloud Platform environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, deploy, and ensure the uptime and scalability of core cloud services
• Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD automation to enhance platform reliability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify cloud cost optimization opportunities and document incident resolutions

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related STEM field
• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering with expertise in Google Cloud Platform
• Proven experience with DevOps methodologies and building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with managing and deploying cloud infrastructure focusing on scalability and security
• Strong experience with monitoring tools and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
