Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the evolution and maintenance of high-availability cloud infrastructure, the full-time remote Cloud Platform Engineer will manage the entire lifecycle of the Azure ecosystem, utilizing Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible for provisioning and configuration management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the scaling, patching, and securing of cloud environments in production
• Utilize Terraform for provisioning and Ansible for OS-level orchestration within the Azure ecosystem
• Act as a technical lead, documenting processes to prevent single points of failure

Required qualifications

• 7 years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Expertise in Kubernetes as a core requirement
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Prometheus/Grafana stacks
• Strong ability to explain complex infrastructure concepts to non-technical stakeholders
