Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Providing operational support for AWS and Azure cloud environments, the full-time Cloud Platform Engineer will manage virtual machine lifecycle activities, support subscription management, and design cloud environments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support for AWS and Azure cloud environments, including IaaS and PaaS services
• Manage full virtual machine lifecycle activities, including provisioning, configuration, and decommissioning
• Design and build cloud environments to support application onboarding, testing, and production deployments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, or AWS/Azure platform operations
• Demonstrated experience supporting AWS/Azure IaaS and PaaS environments, including VM lifecycle management
• Hands-on experience managing large-scale VM environments in enterprise or federal settings
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform) for automated provisioning
