Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support a financial services client, the remote Cloud Platform Engineer will implement cloud container and CI/CD automation on AWS and Azure platforms, focusing on building and managing reliability for internal cloud container platforms while ensuring high availability and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the reliability and support of the Internal Cloud Container Platform on-prem
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and security issues within the container platform environment
• Identify and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues while collaborating with engineering and operations teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and supporting cloud infrastructure
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, including network, storage, and security architectures
• Proficiency in scripting with Shell/bash, Python, and Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Bitbucket, and GIT
• Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Openshift
