Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To implement cloud container and CI/CD automation requirements on AWS and Azure platforms, the full-time Cloud Platform Engineer will manage the reliability and support of internal cloud container platforms while collaborating with application development and technology infrastructure teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the reliability of the internal cloud container platform, addressing performance and security issues
• Conduct deep dives into reliability issues and manage incidents, partnering with engineering and operations teams for resolution
• Implement automation strategies to enhance operational excellence and support application onboarding throughout their lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building and supporting cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, including knowledge of network, storage, and security architectures
• Experience with scripting languages like Shell/bash, Python, and Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bitbucket, and GIT
• Knowledge of container technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and Openshift
