Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting and enhancing cloud infrastructure, the remote contract-to-hire Associate Cloud Platform Engineer will maintain the Databricks platform, assist in cloud development initiatives, and collaborate with senior engineers on Infrastructure as Code solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Databricks platform for stability, performance, and scalability
• Assist in developing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and user access management
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and infrastructure tasks
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning (nice to have)
