Job Summary
Supporting DLA's cloud-hosting strategy, the full-time Cloud Security and Automation SME will manage architecture modernization, cybersecurity compliance, cost optimization, and process automation in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise on cloud architecture, hosting models, and security compliance while developing design documentation and implementation strategies
- Conduct optimization reviews and cloud business-case analyses to recommend resource right-sizing and cost-saving measures
- Mentor Government personnel on cloud architecture, FinOps, and automation best practices while facilitating cloud project meetings
Required qualifications:
- Active Department of Defense Secret clearance and favorable Tier 5 investigation
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in Certification and Accreditation or Assessment and Authorization
- Active Certified Cloud Security Professional certification and current cloud computing environment certification (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Strong experience with Risk Management Framework, NIST SP 800-37, and NIST SP 800-53
- Proven knowledge of FedRAMP assessment methodology and cloud-native services across various platforms
