Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Cloud Security and Vulnerability Management Consultant will deliver customer-facing security assessments, evaluate cloud environments against compliance frameworks, identify vulnerabilities, and help clients develop remediation strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct cloud security posture assessments across AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments
- Deploy and manage vulnerability scanning platforms while developing patching strategies and guiding remediation planning
- Participate in customer-facing activities, including kickoff calls, technical interviews, and findings presentations
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred; Azure, M365 also valued)
- Understanding of cloud security posture management (CSPM) concepts and compliance frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks and NIST
- Familiarity with vulnerability management concepts and severity frameworks (e.g., CVSS)
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Git
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud security, vulnerability management, or a related technical security role
