Cloud Security Director

Job Summary

Leading the global strategy for cloud security, the full-time Senior Director of Cloud Security will oversee architecture, engineering, and governance across multi-cloud environments, ensuring compliance and risk management while fostering partnerships with technology teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and execute the enterprise cloud security strategy aligned with corporate risk appetite and regulatory requirements
• Establish cloud security reference architectures and lead governance across AWS, Azure, GCP, and SaaS platforms
• Build and lead a global team of cloud security architects and engineers, ensuring continuous improvement in defense capabilities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 12+ years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in a managerial role within information security
• Preferred certifications include CCSP, CISSP, and CISM
• Strong knowledge of IT risk management and cloud security frameworks
• Experience with security tools such as CSPM, SIEM, and vulnerability testing tools
