Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to enhance its application security program.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and enhance security design within GCP and Kubernetes, improving security posture
• Champion secure development by integrating best practices into the software development lifecycle
• Design and automate security tooling for vulnerability detection and compliance verification

Required Qualifications

• Experience securing cloud-native applications and infrastructure, particularly in Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, identity management, and common web application vulnerabilities
• Hands-on experience in application security, including threat modeling and vulnerability management
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform
• Development experience with Go and Python
