Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Cloud Security Engineer to safeguard sensitive data and infrastructure within the cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud infrastructure, applications, and data
• Conduct regular security assessments and automate cloud security controls to mitigate risks
• Monitor and respond to security incidents while providing guidance on cloud security practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent job experience
• 5+ years of industry experience, with 3-5 years in cloud security engineering
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and security tools
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, and familiarity with container security technologies
