Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement security recommendations and build controls to detect, prevent, and correct cloud vulnerabilities
• Design and architect infrastructure to support security initiatives and ensure well-architected fundamentals
• Build and manage production security tools and services to monitor cloud environments

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience deploying and securing services on public cloud infrastructure
• Detailed understanding of cloud and network security, particularly with Kubernetes and cloud-native security
• Fluency in one or more programming or scripting languages
• Experience with security tools such as CSPM, vulnerability scanners, and web application firewalls
• Depth of experience with at least one common cloud service provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure
