Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer III to join their Security & Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct AWS security reviews to validate adherence to security best practices
• Recommend and implement security improvements in collaboration with production support teams
• Perform in-depth security reviews of application code and work with developers to ensure secure coding practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in product or application security and software engineering roles
• Experience with AWS services such as GuardDuty, CloudTrail, IAM, and S3
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or TypeScript)
• Subject matter expertise in security best practices and risk assessment
