Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Cloud Security Engineer, seeking a full-time individual to design, implement, and assess security controls in AWS environments, focusing on compliance engineering and vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and improve security controls aligned with compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53 and CMMC
• Oversee security operations including vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure secure deployment practices

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required for future GovCloud and CUI handling
• 5+ years in information security, compliance engineering, or security architecture
• Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code for security control implementation
• Deep expertise in AWS security services, including Security Hub and GuardDuty
• Experience with vulnerability management across various workload types, including EC2 and containers
