Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To drive the architectural design and hands-on implementation of next-generation cloud security controls, the full-time Senior Cloud Security Engineer will take ownership of architecting and hardening multi-cloud infrastructure, specifically focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, rebuild, and harden multi-cloud infrastructure with a focus on GCP data services and machine learning stacks
• Consult with software development teams to embed preventive security controls into new system designs
• Build and implement security automations and scripts in Python or Go to manage vulnerabilities and eliminate misconfigurations

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of information security experience in a cloud-first environment
• Expert-level experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Proficiency in writing automation scripts using Python or Go
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks, preferably Terraform
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
