Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting security control implementation and maintenance, the full-time Cloud Security Engineer will assist in compliance activities, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening, with the potential for remote work within the continental US.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of technical security controls across applications and infrastructure
• Assist with vulnerability identification, triage, and remediation coordination
• Contribute to compliance sustainment activities through documentation updates and evidence gathering

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, DevSecOps, or security engineering
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST RMF or FedRAMP
• Exposure to vulnerability management and security scanning processes
• Familiarity with Linux or Windows administration and networking fundamentals
• Exposure to cloud-based environments, preferably AWS or AWS GovCloud
