Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on asset visibility and vulnerability management, the full-time remote Cloud Security Engineer will manage security processes and tools for hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring a healthy security posture and participating in incident response activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and improve vulnerability management processes and maintain accurate asset inventories across cloud and on-premises environments
• Monitor cloud security posture and support secure configuration of cloud workloads and infrastructure components
• Support security incidents by managing investigations and contributing to documentation and runbooks for incident response procedures

Required qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or vulnerability management
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and cloud security platforms
• Familiarity with network security fundamentals and secure configuration standards
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent are preferred
