Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance cloud security, the full-time hybrid Cloud Security Engineer will develop and govern ISO 27001 compliant processes, improve security for AWS environments, and partner with engineering teams to embed security into the software development life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Improve the security of cloud architecture across AWS environments and embed security into the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, build automated security checks, and design least-privilege access models
• Establish logging, monitoring, and alerting for infrastructure and application layers, leading responses to security incidents

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years with a Master's degree; or equivalent experience
• Strong skills in Python, Ansible, AWS, and Terraform
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001
• Familiarity with AWS IAM roles and policy management
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
