Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To establish a cloud security program across a multi-cloud environment, the contract Cloud Security Engineer will work remotely for 12-16 weeks, focusing on building an authoritative inventory of cloud properties, assessing cloud security posture, and integrating workflows into ServiceNow.

Key responsibilities

• Enumerate cloud accounts and reconcile them into a ServiceNow CMDB cloud asset class
• Run cloud posture assessments and document findings in a ServiceNow posture dashboard
• Build and operate cloud account onboarding and monitoring workflows in ServiceNow

Required qualifications

• Hands-on multi-cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP; OCI a plus)
• ServiceNow build experience, specifically in workflows and CMDB integration
• Proficiency with AI frontier models applied to security-engineering work
• Experience with SIEM/log-pipeline integration
• Strong documentation skills and operational discipline for steady-state operations
