Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a diverse and globally distributed team, the full-time salaried Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for enhancing security and compliance services, conducting AWS security reviews, and collaborating with product teams to implement secure-by-default designs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct AWS security reviews to ensure adherence to security best practices
• Recommend and implement security improvements in collaboration with production support teams
• Perform in-depth security reviews of application code, partnering with developers to ensure secure coding practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in product or application security and related software engineering roles
• Experience with AWS services such as GuardDuty, IAM, and CloudFormation
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Expertise in security best practices and risk assessment methodologies
