Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To strengthen the security posture of a multi-cloud environment, the full-time Cloud Security Engineer will lead threat modeling and attack-path analysis across AWS and Azure, tune AI-driven detections, and communicate complex security findings to both technical and executive stakeholders in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security architecture reviews and discovery sessions to identify control gaps in AWS and Azure environments
• Perform threat modeling and attack-path analysis, mapping adversarial behavior to security frameworks
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design secure deployment patterns and resolve complex multi-cloud security escalations

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on cloud security experience across AWS and/or Azure
• Demonstrated experience with threat modeling, attack-path analysis, and security architecture reviews
• Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Critical Security Controls, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Experience with AI-driven or behavioral anomaly detection platforms
• Strong grasp of IAM fundamentals, including least privilege and zero-trust architecture
