Cloud Security Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Cloud Security Manager will oversee the security of cloud environments and application security practices, ensuring robust security measures are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and grow the Security Engineering team, focusing on cloud and application security
• Design and implement security controls across various cloud environments, continuously monitoring and improving cloud posture
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle through secure coding practices and vulnerability management

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and securing AWS environments
• Proficiency in AWS security services, Terraform, and CI/CD security practices
• Experience leading application security efforts, including threat modeling and vulnerability management
• Knowledge of compliance standards and security frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, and NIST
