Cloud Security Staff Engineer

Job Summary

As a hands-on Staff Security Engineer focused on Cloud Security, this full-time position will manage and enhance the cloud security strategy, design security controls, and collaborate with various teams to mitigate risks in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve the cloud security strategy and roadmap, prioritizing critical risks
• Design and enhance security controls across various domains including identity, access, and data protection
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into cloud architecture and CI/CD pipelines

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security, infrastructure, or related engineering roles, with strong expertise in AWS and cloud-native environments
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management and workload security
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CI/CD processes
• Proven ability to identify broader security risks beyond individual findings
• Experience securing containers and Kubernetes environments
