Cloud Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Cloud).

Key Responsibilities

• Write efficient, readable, maintainable, and testable code using Kotlin, Java, and other server-side languages and frameworks
• Create unit tests, and sometimes integration and performance tests
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop and maintain Atlassian plugins

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in server-side development of commercial web applications in Java and/or Kotlin (at least 1 year in Kotlin)
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related studies
• Working knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals: big-O, basic data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with building highly scalable distributed systems and technologies like Kubernetes, Cassandra, Kafka, and Akka
• Excellent understanding of Java Concurrency
