Cloud Services Senior Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Cloud Services Team, the full-time salaried Cloud Services Senior Engineer will act as a technical expert, managing operations and infrastructure improvements while guiding major cloud-based projects and mentoring team members.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Architects to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient private and public cloud solutions
- Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex cloud issues, including networking, security, and performance concerns
- Serve as a technical mentor to Cloud Services Engineers, providing guidance on best practices and problem-solving
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- One or more relevant cloud platform certifications, such as VMWare Certified Professional or Azure Administrator Associate
- Current CCNA certification or comparable enterprise network platform certification
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing private cloud environments and designing cloud infrastructure at scale
- Practical experience with Cisco, VMWare vSphere, SAN, NAS, or object storage, and familiarity with public cloud platforms
