Cloud Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Observability organization, the remote Cloud Software Engineer will design, build, and operate distributed systems for telemetry ingestion and processing while ensuring reliability and performance at scale.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate high-scale distributed systems for telemetry processing and storage
- Own the reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of telemetry pipelines
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve production incidents and implement root-cause fixes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production systems at scale
- Strong proficiency in Go programming language
- Experience with Kubernetes for service deployment and management
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and GitOps methodologies
- Production experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
