Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Summary

To support the US Space Force's Space Systems Command, the full-time Platform Systems Architect will design and implement a modern cloud/hybrid cloud platform, manage technical baselines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mission-critical software for space defense and data services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an integrated cloud/hybrid cloud platform aligned with performance objectives
• Manage the technical baseline and provide recommendations for optimizing existing solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into detailed architectural designs

Required qualifications

• BS degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or a Master's with 10+ years, with additional experience accepted in lieu of a degree
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+)
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native technologies
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Active Cloud Solutions Architect Expert certification and US citizenship with an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
