Cloud Systems Principal Engineer

Job Summary

Driving cloud infrastructure excellence, the full-time Cloud Systems Principal Engineer will manage enterprise solutions in public and private clouds, automate system deployment, and mentor engineering teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and support private/public cloud systems, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to governance standards
• Develop automation solutions to enhance service delivery and eliminate manual operations
• Act as a senior technical leader and escalation point for complex issues, providing guidance to engineering teams

Required qualifications:

• Technical degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
• Experience in designing, building, and managing Linux/Unix-based and Windows systems
• Extensive cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Proven expertise in automation scripting tools such as BASH, Python, or PowerShell
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools
