CMDB and IT Asset Administrator

Job Summary

Managing the CMDB within ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, the full-time hybrid CMDB and IT Asset Administrator will oversee configuration item management, ensure data accuracy, and support IT asset lifecycle management and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the CMDB, ensuring data integrity and performing regular audits
• Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, tracking inventory and monitoring compliance with governance standards
• Support ITSM processes by providing accurate CMDB data for incident, problem, and change management

Required qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in CMDB and IT asset management
• Proficiency in ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus and its IT Asset Management module
• Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and ITSM processes
• Knowledge of infrastructure components including Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and cloud services
• Experience with asset discovery tools and reporting/dashboard creation
