CMDB Configuration Manager

Job Summary

To ensure the integrity and governance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), the full-time CMDB Configuration Manager will develop and oversee strategies while collaborating with various IT teams, primarily working remotely but must reside in the DFW area.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement CMDB governance policies, standards, and procedures to maintain data integrity
• Oversee ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping for accurate configuration item population and business service mapping
• Conduct regular CMDB audits and reconcile discrepancies across various data sources

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a relevant field, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 7 years of experience overseeing a CMDB with large data volumes, including data integrity checks
• 2 years of experience working with CMDB in ServiceNow (highly preferred)
• ITIL Foundation and ITIL Advanced certifications (preferred)
