CMDB & IT Asset Administrator
Job Summary
Managing the CMDB and IT asset lifecycle, the full-time CMDB & IT Asset Administrator will administer ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, ensuring data accuracy and compliance while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the CMDB, ensuring data integrity and performing regular audits
- Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, tracking hardware and software from procurement to retirement
- Support ITSM processes by providing accurate CMDB data for Incident, Problem, and Change Management teams
Required qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in CMDB administration and IT asset management
- Proficiency in ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus and ITIL best practices
- Strong understanding of infrastructure components including servers, networks, and cloud resources
- Experience with asset discovery tools and reporting/dashboard creation
- Knowledge of configuration management and asset lifecycle management standards
