CMMC 2.0 & SOC 2 Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of IT & Security to lead information technology and security functions for a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own CMMC 2.0 and SOC 2 compliance, including control design, evidence collection, and audit coordination
• Lead all IT functions, ensuring secure and reliable operations while managing vendor relationships
• Provide hands-on support for IT issues and mentor IT team members to foster a responsive service culture

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership responsibilities
• Direct ownership of CMMC 2.0 readiness or SOC 2 audits
• Experience in government contracting, defense, or regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of NIST standards, identity management, and cloud-based IT environments
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives and non-technical stakeholders
