CMMC Compliance Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information System Security Officer (CMMC Compliance).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for CMMC compliance, including regular audits and assessments
• Manage the System Security Plan (SSP) and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to address security gaps
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and ensure the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, with three years of relevant experience
• Detailed knowledge of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and NIST SP 800-171
• Experience with compliance assessment and risk management
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance
• Understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is preferred
