CMS EDGE Server Architect
Job Summary
Serving as a strategic technical advisor, the full-time CMS EDGE Server / Risk Adjustment Data Architect will design and oversee CMS EDGE Server architecture and implementations for healthcare payer clients while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for ACA risk adjustment, reinsurance, and CMS regulatory reporting initiatives
- Design and manage end-to-end CMS EDGE Server architecture, including data ingestion, transformation, validation, and submission processes
- Lead CMS EDGE Server implementations and provide client-facing advisory support on best practices and compliance
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of healthcare payer experience with expertise in ACA, risk adjustment, and regulatory reporting
- Deep hands-on experience with CMS EDGE Server architecture and data submission workflows
- Strong understanding of CMS/HHS requirements and risk adjustment transfer payment processes
- Experience designing data pipelines and interfaces across payer source systems and reporting environments
- Proven ability to define technical architecture and operational controls for CMS EDGE Server submissions
