Job Summary

A company is looking for a CMS SEPSIS Measures Abstractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and submit accurate, complete, and timely data to the specific registry or measure data repository
• Perform high-quality data compilation, documentation, and data entry of identified procedures and disease processes
• Maintain current knowledge of abstraction/coding rules, manuals, and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of current experience with Sepsis Abstraction and core measures
• Superior knowledge of core measure requirements and quality reporting programs (IQR, OQR, IPFQR)
• Experience with core measure data collection applications
• A college degree from an accredited nursing program or other accredited healthcare program
• Healthcare credential associated with their program of study or other healthcare information-related abstraction and coding credentials desirable
