CNA Telemetry Monitor Technician

Job Summary

To support telemetry surveillance, the full-time CNA Telemetry Monitor Technician will review patient heart rhythm patterns, monitor cardiac screens for abnormalities, and communicate urgent findings to nursing staff while working onsite at Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford, IL.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes patient heart rhythm data to identify variances and document findings
• Monitors cardiac monitors and responds to alarms, alerting nursing staff of any urgent issues
• Processes orders accurately and provides essential communication to patients and staff

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of a Unit Clerk course or equivalent on-the-job training
• Successful completion of the Mercy Health System telemetry course
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms preferred
• Basic computer skills are beneficial
